7/20/2006 - Steven O’Loughlin Steps Up to Head Engineering
Southborough, MA – July 20, 2006 - Device Technologies, Inc., an ISO9001:2000 certified company that leads the industry in the design and manufacture of high performance specialty fastener and wire protection solutions; today announced the promotion of Steven P. O’Loughlin to Engineering Manager of Product Development.
In his new position, O’Loughlin will take on responsibility for new product development, quality and manufacturing engineering. He will also retain responsibility for DTi’s design engineering and 18,000 square foot manufacturing facility.
Announcing Steven’s promotion, DTi CEO, Nicholas B. Petri said, “Steven’s extensive engineering experience and so lid commitment to quality and customer service has always been a tremendous asset to Device Technologies. Steven has been with Device Technologies since 1999. His experience includes various engineering design, application engineering and manufacturing roles.
Steven has fifteen years of engineering experience in DFM / DFA (Design for Manufacture / Assembly) and lean manufacturing.
Steven holds a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering and is an active member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, (ASME) and Society of Plastic Engineers, (SPE).
