Device Technologies Inc. (DTi) today announced that 4 new supply chain and sales support organizations are joining their sales and distribution network to further expand DTi’s growth domestically and internationally.
DTi is a leading provider of wire and equipment protection products: grommet edging, enclosure seals, edge trims, fiber management, and cable harness sleeving & wraps.
“Strategically, this will enable DTi to better serve its customers and capitalize on ever-expanding industry opportunities as well as emerging international markets and opportunities. We want to maximize our supply chain reach and ensure product availability to a wider range of industry segments in North America and across the world. This expansion will leverage and optimize our production and inventory management skillset to best effect”, said DTi President Nick Petri.
In particular, DTi wants to promote its flagship Spring-Fast® wire protection grommet edging. Compared to commonly used adhesive applied nylon grommets, it will save OEMs at least 49% of install costs, grow productivity by a factor of 9.5X, while providing best-in-class performance with no failures in 30+ years. Additionally, the no-adhesive application increases worker safety by eliminating the need for HAZMAT handling of the toxic adhesives and solvents used in preparation, application and cleanup.
