Spring-Fast SL series wire protection grommet edging is installed on the G800, G700, G650, G650ER, G600, G500, and the new G400 larger cabin models.
SL is installed on channels or pathways inside the wing rib cutouts, where wiring must run along the wing spar and access panels.
When wires cross metal edges, there is always the risk of abrasion which can lead to equipment discrepancies (due to the abraded wiring) and worst case even fire. Spring-Fast Sl prevents that.
Other EWIS applications are in the center wing box, the forward and center fuselage, under-floor pathways, radio racks, avionics, and flight controls.
