AAON is an essential manufacturer of HVAC systems, and it is doing all it can to meet the needs of its customers that have or need AAON equipment or parts for critical infrastructure.
On Sunday, March 29th, AAON got a call to see if they could deliver 2,200 tons of HVAC equipment for a temporary field hospital in Stony Brook, NY, being built by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers which had to be completed by April 18th.
On Tuesday, March 31st, AAON had an order for forty-four 50-ton customized AAON units.
AAON went into overdrive and set up 24-hour production to ensure delivery of all equipment by Tuesday, April 7th.

On April 3, AAON shipped the first truckload of equipment for the Stony Brook Hospital. A staggeringly fast turnaround.
A second order for 1,800 tons was placed for a different temporary hospital at SUNY in NY. Those thirty-six 50-ton units shipped within a week.
To put this in perspective, these two orders for 4,000 tons of HVAC equipment equates to the cooling for more than 1,300 single-family homes.
It should also be noted that AAON executed all the expedited manufacturing and shipping at standard pricing.
